News From Twigs & Sprigs Tea Room

 

A visit to Stream Cliff Farm is not complete without having lunch or afternoon tea in Twigs & Sprigs Tearoom. Over the years the Tearoom has become well known for the Dill and Rosemary Chicken Salad and Birdseed Pasta Salad we serve. Also our hot Sunday specials almost always sell out. Favorite desserts have become the Hummingbird Cake, Blackberry Cobbler and Turtle Cheesecake. The waitresses always enjoy the Òoohs and ahsÓ they hear when serving our famous desserts. We strive for beautiful presentation with our use of edible flowers and herbs. We are proud of the delicious food prepared by our head cooks, Bonnie Wells and Carol Barger.

Twigs and Sprigs Tearoom is decorated with a garden theme. One room has a beautiful garden mural painted by Elizabeth Manning George and Betty Manning. Be sure to find the grandchildren dressed as garden fairies hiding in the mural. The second room features large windows overlooking the plant sale area.

The Tearoom hours are 11:00-4:00 Wed through Sat and 12:00-4:00 on Sun. We offer reservations for groups of 8 or more. The times for these reservations are 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00. (The exception is for our Mother's Day lunch and Candlelight Dinners when reservations are required.) Please see the Mother's Day and Candlelight Dinner sections for more information. For individuals or groups smaller than 8, just write your name on the podium found in front of the Tearoom.

It is our sincere desire that we provide a wonderful food experience in a quaint, lovely dining atmosphere.
