Dear clubs and organizations,

Thank you for your interest in Stream Cliff Herb Farm, Tearoom & Winery. We offer many different options to choose from as you plan your visit. We are open Wednesday through Sunday, early April through mid-October.

Our base group package is $13.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. This includes your choice of the following two menu options: Dill & Rosemary Chicken Salad on a fresh baked croissant, Birdseed Pasta Salad, Pita Chips, and Fresh Fruit or delicious Pork Barbecue served on fresh baked focaccia bread, Dill Slaw, Pita Chips and Fresh Fruit. Both meals include our popular Lemon Layer dessert and a drink. This option is available for any group having at least 8 people and can be purchased alone or with one of the lectures or projects listed below.

For groups of 15 or more we offer additional activities which can be added to the base price with lunch. Many groups enjoy adding a lecture and guided garden tour to make their day special. There are many interesting lectures to choose from, each given by owner Betty Manning, the cost is only $5.00 per person, plus base group package price. Lectures offered are Culinary Herb Growing, Fragrant Gardening, Sun & Shade Flower Gardening, or Morgan's Civil War Raid at Stream Cliff Farm. New this year are two spiritual lectures; God is With Me in the Garden, which has a garden theme and Choosing a Life of Praise with a culinary theme.

We also offer several make and take craft or garden projects. The workshops offered are Culinary Herb Pot, Hanging Flower Basket, Flower Pot or Simple Vine Wreath with Dried Flowers. These projects are available for an additional $19.00 plus the lunch package. Another option is a Spice Potpourri Blending class which is offered for $6.00 plus the lunch package price. All listed make and take projects require a 3-week advance reservation and a $10.00 per person non-refundable deposit for supplies.

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for groups who enjoy visiting the winery. This package includes wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine of your choice. Hors d'oeuvres will be a fruit and cheese tray, spinach and artichoke dip, herb barbecue balls, and focaccia bread with rosemary oil. Cost is $15.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. This is a nice way to spend the afternoon with friends or club members.

All group packages require fifteen people; the exception is for those groups having lunch only. For groups smaller than fifteen desiring a lecture or craft/garden workshop, we suggest you invite friends and family or join another group to meet the minimum number. For small groups between eight and fifteen you may make a reservation in the Tearoom for lunch and use our garden seating for needed meeting space. We are unable to accommodate meetings held in the tearoom. If possible please have one person responsible for payment. There is no minimum number of guests required to eat in the tearoom.

By choosing one of the group package meals we will be better able to seat your party together and serve you in the most efficient manner while giving your group a savings. If your group wishes to order off the menu individually we will do our best to seat you as tables become available in the tearoom. Please call for a reservation if your group is eight or more.

Of course the farm is open to the public, therefore, your group is welcome to browse the gardens and shops without being required to have a meal. Although most groups choose to have lunch while at the farm to make their visit complete.

We looking forward to hearing from you as you make a reservation for lunch and plan your visit with us.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Manning George

Policies for Group Packages and Group Make and Take Craft Projects

All craft classes require 3-week reservation lead time for supplies. Minimum number attending for all classes and all groups is fifteen. To secure a date, booking should be done in advance with an approximate number. At one month prior to your make and take function a $10.00 per person deposit is required for supplies. You may add to this number after this date and we will accommodate these additional people if supplies are available. A $10.00 per person deposit is required at the time of adding to your number. Please inform us as soon as possible as many classes require time to acquire supplies. All deposits are non-refundable and are subtracted from the balance due on the day of your event.

Our policy for group functions requires an attendance of fifteen. If your group is less than fifteen we would suggest inviting friends or family to come for this special day to help you meet that number. If your group fails to meet the fifteen-person minimum please understand your group will be charged the amount of the fifteen-person minimum. Another option for small groups not wishing to have a program, lecture or guided tour is to make reservations to eat in the tearoom. Then your group may enjoy your own self-guided tour, shopping and plant selections. All groups of more than eight should make reservations for eating in the tearoom. Then those groups are welcome to use the garden seating if a small meeting is needed at no charge. We are unable to accommodate meetings held in the tearoom.
