Mum Festival, August 23

When autumn approaches it is always such a beautiful time of year. From late spring through the summer we grow our many gorgeous mums. Once they start blooming they are just simply breathtaking. It is a wonderful day to enjoy the Annual Mum Festival on August 23 from 10:00-4:00. Our mums are large size with an exceptionally modest price. The mums sell out quickly so shop early for best selection.

The Mum Festival will feature free presentations and demonstrations. At 11:00 Betty Manning will give a program "Pairing Wines, Cheeses and Herbs." At 1:00, Greg Manning, horticulturist, will present "Preparing Your Garden for Fall".

Craft booths featuring beautiful handmade items and authentic antiques (no flea market items allowed) will be held in and around our 1868, Keeping Room. Those interested in exhibiting, please see "Exhibiting at Stream Cliff." There is no charge to attend or exhibit. Food will be available at Twigs & Sprigs Tearoom. If you are bringing a large group (8 or more) for lunch, please call for reservations. Plan for a lovely autumn day.
