Stream Cliff Welcomes Groups
A popular destination for groups is to come to Stream Cliff Farm for day trips. Some of the groups hosted are garden clubs, antique auto clubs, history groups, church or businesses, women's clubs, bus tour companies, bike clubs, bridal and baby showers and Red Hat Societies. We are able to offer a special lunch package which includes lunch, dessert and beverage for $13.95 plus tax and gratuity. Also available is a very popular event which includes the lunch package above, a lecture and guided garden tour for an additional $5.00 per person. Lectures offered are: Culinary Herb Growing, Fragrant Gardening, Sun & Shade Flower Gardening, or Morgan's Civil War Raid at Stream Cliff Farm.
Some groups desire the lunch package and also a make and take project. The workshops offered are: Culinary Herb Pot (10"), Hanging Flower Basket, Flower Pot (10") or Dried Flower and Bay Leaf with Raffia Swag. These projects are offered for an additional $19.00 plus the lunch package. Another option is a Spice Potpourri Blending class which is offered for $6.00 plus the lunch package price. All listed make and take projects require a 3 week advance reservation and a $10.00 per person deposit for supplies. ($6.00 for potpourri class)Lectures, craft classes, and garden tours are conducted by Betty Manning.
Two special group events are offered in the Winery. A glass of wine with hors d'oeuvres, being a fruit and cheese tray, spinach and artichoke dip, herb barbecue balls, and focaccia bread with a rosemary olive oil. Fee is $13.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. A new event is a Chocolate and Wine Pairing, featuring four wines paired with four chocolates. The fee for the Chocolate and Wine Pairing is $7.00 per person. The minimum number required for either of these events is fifteen people.
Groups desiring to eat in the Tearoom are welcome to also use the canopy area for meetings.
