Stream Cliff Welcomes Groups
Many groups come to Stream Cliff Farm for day trips. Some of the groups hosted are garden clubs, antique auto clubs, history groups, church or businesses, women's clubs, bus tour companies, bike clubs, bridal and baby showers and Red Hat Societies. We are able to offer a special lunch package which includes lunch, dessert and beverage for $13.95 plus tax and gratuity. Also available is a very popular event which includes the lunch package above and a lecture and guided garden tour for an additional $5.00 per person. Lectures offered are: Culinary Herb Growing, Fragrant Gardening, Sun & Shade Flower Gardening, or Morgan's Civil War Raid at Stream Cliff Farm. Two new spiritual lectures are being offered this year. One is a garden themed talk called "God is With Me in the Garden" and the other lecture which has a culinary theme is called "Choosing a Life of Praise". Lectures, craft classes, and garden tours are conducted by Betty Manning. Some groups desire the lunch package and also a make and take project. Those workshops offered are: Culinary Herb Pot, Hanging Flower Basket, Flower Pot or 12 inch dried flower and vine wreath. These projects are offered for an additional $19.00 plus the lunch package. Another option is a Spice Potpourri Blending class which is offered for $6.00 plus the lunch package price. All listed make and take projects require a 3 week advance reservation and a $10.00 per person deposit for supplies. New this season is a group function in the winery. This includes wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine of your choice. Hors d'oeuvres will be a fruit and cheese tray, spinach and artichoke dip, herb barbecue balls, and focaccia bread with a rosemary oil. Fee is $15.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. The minimum number required is fifteen people. For groups smaller than fifteen desiring a group function we suggest you invite friends or family or join another group to meet the minimum number. For small groups between eight and fifteen you may make a reservation in the Tearoom for lunch and use our garden seating for needed meeting space. Groups of fifteen or more wanting to eat in the Tearoom may use the lunch package price or they may order off the menu individually. |
