Christmas at the Farm
Christmas at Stream Cliff Farm is always a busy time and there are many events planned. Starting the mood for holiday time there are three make and take projects. On Oct. 1 a new class will be the "Create Five Holiday Ornaments." Also on that day is the popular "Miniature Dried Flower Table Tree." On Oct. 8 there are two different classes, the popular "Holiday Wreath" and "Holiday Swag" classes. all of the make and take Christmas projects includes lunch, dessert and beverage. Often groups of friends or family do projects together so this is a wonderful opportunity to have your group have lunch together and also make a project to take home. What fun it is to share this delightful time with the special people in your life! A new event this year on Oct 15 from 10-4 will be a Christmas Show in the 1836 Keeping Room! It will feature handmade craft items, antiques and Christmas collectibles (no flea market items allowed, see exhibiting at Stream Cliff Farm if desiring a booth). On Nov. 12 is our popular "Christmas a the Herb Farm" seminar which features all new holiday cooking demonstrations with recipes, crafting, decorating and singing. Nov. 19 is the date of the Dolly's Tea Party and Marionette Show. There are two sessions for this charming event. On Dec. 3 there will be an Old-Fashioned Christmas Tea and Farmhouse Tour (first floor.) The theme this year is "Father Christmas." Generally holiday events sell quickly so early registration is recommended. Winery open house weekends, with refreshments and mulled wine will be Dec. 10-11, Dec. 17-18, and Dec 31 from 12:00-4:00. The winery open houses are free of charge and do not require reservations. Mark your calendar for Stream Cliff Holiday events. |
